Good morning friends. You may notice a new logo on my sidebar - yes, I am on the Hobbycraft 2019 Papercraft design team. For my overseas friends, Hobbycraft is our only big box craft store here in the UK. Think Michaels with a British accent! Obviously, I am delighted/nervous/overwhelmed at the thought of this new challenge, but plan to tackle it head on and give it everything I've this space. I will be continuing to work for Fiskars, and the Fiskarettes UK page is thriving I am happy to say

Sharing a few of my Christmas card designs for this always, mass producing is impossible for my grasshopper brain, the most I can churn out is four before terminal boredom steps in...

But the most tedious job is done, cards are written and posted. My most hated job of the year. Such a pleasure to make them, such a chore to get them out! Have a lovely weekend, see you next week x

  1. Congrats on your new assignment :) I saw it announced on their Facebook post the other day.

  2. Congrats. You'll be amazing. Love the lantern card. It's gorgeous. Hugz

  3. Your cards are wonderful! Congratulations on your new responsibilities. You'll shine!!

  4. Huge congratulations from me too Enfys, I am so thrilled for you. I love that gorgeous Christmas tree card - like you, batch making doesn't work for me either and I share your view on writing out the cards. Wishing you and yours a lovely Christmas! Hugs, Anne xx

  5. Congratulations, dear Enfys.
    Love your cards.
    Have a nice weekend. Hugs,

  6. Congratulations En on becoming a member of the Hobbycraft 2019 Papercraft design team. Hobbycraft has made an excellent choice in adding you to their team ... your talents and skills will shine for them. You always create the most unique and delightful designs - I have been a great fan of yours for many years.

These three fabulous Christmas cards are a wonderful example of your work, and I adore them all. However, I will admit to being particularly found of the first, "Noel" card. (I suddenly have the urge to break out in song .... The first Noel, the angels did say ... but I shall save us all and refrain.) I love the beautiful layers on it and the pop of color with the red cardinal. It reminds me of winter scenes of the wooded areas near where I grew up. Isn't it amazing that a greeting card can awaken such sweet memories. Again, congrats on becoming a member of the Hobbycraft design team. Have a wonderful Christmas.
    Hugz, Carol xx
