Getting to Know you - for Daring Cardmakers....

Dawn's turn to set the challenge this week, she calls it 'getting to know you' and wants to know where we craft, and our favourite techniques.....

So here is my little haven (I must admit these photos were taken soon after we moved in to this house, two years later, it's not quite as tidy!). But I still love it

and my sign (made with my Cricut) still hangs there - it amuses my grandchildren!

and my card? I cheated a bit I suppose, turning the tag I made at the Paper Artsy workshop at Stitches into a card (well, I have had a very busy week....). But it does encompass a lot of what I love doing - stamping, inking, stencils and fussy cutting! So it fit the bill, and I like the way it looks against the black card

How about you - where do you craft? Have you got a favourite technique? Join in over at Daring Cardmakers this week

  5. I love your craft space Enfys ... it's a touch of heaven compared to my cluttered crafting corner. I share my space with my Husband ... It was a spare bedroom in our home that now has his office on one side and my crafty corner is on the other. Because we share the space, I am very limited in how much I can alter the room. It's not bad really (I'm not complaining), however I do lack storage space. I'm not really sure I have a favorite technique other than I do like to use a lot of embellishments. I'm not sure you'd call it a technique, but embellishments are definitely my signature (ribbons, bows, flowers, etc. and of course, my crafts must have some element of bling on them). I love how you have re-purposed your tag into a beautiful Birthday Card ... that is brilliant!

  11. Wow, that's an awesome studio! (It's funny to hear you say that you love fussy cutting... I'd never say that but actually... I do find fussy cutting my masks quite meditative.)
Your card is lovely, the colour scheme is just so summery. Makes feel like being on holiday.
