Here's some of the stuff I did for Creativity magazine, on sale now. I was sent a whole bunch of supplies, including these pop up butterflies and some little round boxes, so I threw everything at this one, butterflies, bling aplenty and some gold glitz as well........................
The bare box was painted with antique white acrylic paint, then I made a rosette type flower for the top and added the gems and butterflies............
All supplies available from DoCrafts
I was asked to make some male cards as well. I used an aperture card for this one, backed with the plaid paper. The image is a diecut decoupage. The lettering is foam mini alphas.

This one is for a child, again the image is a diecut decoupage, all the papers are by Papermania UK.

It's quite a challenge when making cards for magazines and you are sent stuff that you normally wouldn't use, but it is very satisfying when you come up with something that doesn't make you hang your head......
Are you all choccied out? We have had a quiet Easter, as we are seeing all the family next weekend. I am on a countdown now to our flight back to the USA in a few days. So much to do. We have to haul the suitcases down from the loft, bringing the cushions for the garden furniture down at the same time, ready for our return in July. We then trip over the cushions all summer as it is usually too soggy to put them on the chairs, then haul them back up to the loft in September, bringing down the christmas decorations ready for our return in December. You see, I NEED my lists!
