and the winner is......

I had a little session of mass producing some birds cut with my Fuse - I cut out some in black, white, red and teal (which looks blue in the photos) and then set about chopping them up.........

and I couldn't resist putting one in a teal frame that I found in Poundland for my crafty den.............

and the latest on the home front is that this kitchen is being ripped out today - looks okay as it is doesn't it? That is until you look closely and see that the microwave is plugged into an extension cable and the doors fall off every time you open one.

So as soon as we get one room straight, it promptly gets messy again as stuff from another room on the 'work in progress' list gets decanted into it.....but it's taking shape, and we are loving living here....

The winner of the metallic markers, drawn randomly is:

LINDA COLE

Congrats Linda, email me with your details and they will be on their way to you

  4. Hi Enfys! Hope the kitchen refit goes smoothly - don't envy you that job - we spent 5 weeks with just a sink and cooker when ours was done! Mind you, it did mean that MIL did all the cooking for a couple of weeks and there's always takeaway, so maybe not all bad!?!
Love your little birds! I have no Mojo for creating at the moment, so if you have any spare can you send some my way?...Hugs, Lisa x

  5. Cute birds! Kinda genious to cut them up and make layers. As for the kitchen, didn't you just redo your other kitchen a bit before selling? Well, maybe that will help with redoing this one. Best wishes

  6. Oh my, those little birdies are adorable! I think I like the little red cardinal the best, but the one you framed for your craft den is great too, especially with the sentiment. I can't blame you for making some changes to your kitchen. How odd that the microwave has an extension cord running to a visible outlet ... but worse is the door falling off. That could be dangerous! My microwave is an older one, and that door is super heavy! (Or did you mean some other door, like maybe the cupboard doors?) On the bright side, just think how lovely your kitchen will be when the work is done. How great that you love living in your new home. You had to go through so much to get there ... I'm so happy that story has a happy ending.

Congrats on your win, Linda. Those metallic markers look awesome!
