Let's try again - if you have already commented to be in with a chance to win, I'm afraid you are going to have to comment again below this post. The original post has disappeared into some dark blogosphere, never to be seen again I fear.
Thanks to Letraset for this month's generous giveaway, open to all my followers. TWO of you will win a blending set of your choice, see the colours available below, and start dreaming of which you would like to win. There are twelve markers in each set, plus a blender, all colours especially chosen to complement each other and make shading a breeze
All you have to do is pop over HERE to see Letraset's fabulous new look blog, then come back here to tell me what you would like to see on the Letraset blog. Be sure to leave enough information for me to identify you if you win. If you have a blog, please link to this post.
The post will stay open until Tuesday 24th May at noon GMT (7 AM EST)
Here's a Lili of the Valley card, coloured with Promarkers of course. All the scallop label shapes and heart border were cut with the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge
Well what a hoo-ha and furore in Blogland. People seemed to be getting quite demented over on the Blogger help site, the whole system was crashed for about 20 hours. I don't think they could have got more upset if they had heard that their granny was dead..........lighten up folks, it's not the end of the world. So apart from the inconvenience of having to do this post over again, and the inconvenience for you folks having to comment again, all is well. I must admit, I would be slightly more than peeved if it happens again..............
I have been busy, very busy with a magazine commission. Sometimes the inspiration flows, sometimes it doesn't. I had the ideas in my head alright, the problem was that when I tried to execute them, they just didn't work. I think I threw about twenty cards into the trash before I was finally totally happy. I sat for hours waiting for a stroke of genius, a dash of brilliance, until a little bit of mediocrity would have been welcome. Then after all this angst, I suddenly saw the light, and voila, there they were. Cardmaking is a funny old hobby sometimes
See you tomorrow
I'm still trying to talk myself into trying markers...maybe I'll get lucky and win some! Thanks for the chance at 'em. As for the new blog it's great and easy to get around in.

I'd love any of the markers. They're a little pricy for me, and I've tried finding a marker blender, and haven't had any luck. I wish Lesitat, not sure on the spelling, would have they'r pricing in U.S. dollars. Thanks for a chance to win. Gloria-jngmunoz@sbcglobal.net

The blog site is okay. Easy to navigate, but not eye catching. I would expect some bright and colorful backrounds or some vivid use of color on the site. I would love to try these pro markers. My fav set would have to be the pastels. Thanx for a chance to win. I would love to be able to color as well as you do.
ReplyDeleteNeesey2008@gmail.com

Lovely card, especially the image.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win.
Your card, as usual, is beautiful, Enfys. I love your cards!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great give away! I just took a look at the site and they've changed a great deal since the last time I popped over. I'd like more tutorials in using them as a beginner. There are so many talented "artists" that use the markers, pens, etc, but, as a beginner that's what I'd like to see.
Thanks for the opportunity to win, and also maybe help the company expand to help some of us beginners!
Blessings, Donna

I haven't used the promarkers before. It is so important to have a couple shades of the same color to make the character look more realistic and naturally shaped. I always look forward to your newsletters. I did finally get Prisma pencils and was starting to check out copic pens. So I am really behind the times and trying to catch up.
ReplyDeleteHallo,
ReplyDeleteI was there and I say nice things. I love tutorials so I can learn some more.
Thank you for the chance to win the candy.
Have a nice day,

I'd never heard of Letraset before coming to your site just now. After looking at the home page of the site I still wasnt sure what they did so maybe they could put a sentence or two saying what they make. The promarkers would really help me finish off some invitation card sets I'm making at the moment. I can only dream of owning them. I love your cards.
ReplyDeleteI liked the Letraset Blog and the way it's currently set up. I can never get enough tutorials, so more use techniques would be nice for card makers, and scrapbookers.

ReplyDeleteI would love to see more tutorials on starting to use the markers.
