I found the new cuttlebug cut and emboss folder called Persia yesterday, and it hopped into my bag when I wasn't paying attention. 'Buy me' it screamed, so of course I did. This is my first quick effort, the cuts are lovely, I do wish the embossing folders were bigger though
I added pearls, and thought the tiny turquoise stick pin added to the Persian feel of the card. The nicest cut on this folder is a beautiful leaf shape, I have a few ideas for using that.........
Don't forget the design team call over at Lily-Boo's Boutique. Here is a thank you teacher card using one of the girl circles.
The apple was cut from Doodlecharms at 2" and the tiny letter stickers are by Making Memories
The stitching is faux. My little machine became unthreaded and I just couldn't be bothered to do all the squinting to thread the needle, so I machined a herringbone stitch with no thread in, and then joined the dots.

Hi Enfys. I was tempted by that cuttlebug folder the other day too but resisted it. I wasn't too sure what to do with it, but now I've seen this my resistence is wavering!! I love the way you've added the pearls.
