Blue and White for Colour Create

On the Colour Create challenge blog this week, they asked for blue and white, with an optional extra of 'vintage' thrown in. I don't really 'do' vintage very well, and don't have any arty vintagey stamps, then I remembered this beauty - well the fifties is vintage isn't it? Stamp is by Stamps Happen Inc. Oops, another slightly crooked photo, still, you get the gist......

I cut away the front half of the card and attached the image panel to that. The border on the left was cut in white, then in black with the Martha Stewart scalloped cornice punch. I machined around the inside fold of the card.
The pattern papers are Heidi Grace and the flowers are from Poppicrafts, and swiped with a blue ink pad. I used a mixture of copics and chalks for colouring the image, and sponged around the outside of the panel in blue ink

Hope all of you have a great weekend

That fifties stamp is just fab and I love the colours you've used. I'm glad someone else cuttlebugs the wrong way too, although it never looks wrong which is such a relief. It looks great especially with the jewels added.

    Have a great weekend.
